This Italian Baroque Style painted and parcel-gilt stand features a square top with acanthus-carved edge and sits on an open spiraled support ending in a gadrooned carving on a square molded base and paw feet. The original pair is in the Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Getty, San Francisco.
