These Regency brass-mounted, painted and parcel-gilt dining chairs are early 19th Century. Available in side and arm chair versions; each arm chair has scrolled cresting surmounted by a foliate cast, scrolled handle above a brass palmette and a twisted horizontal slat. The downward scrolled arms center a trapezoidal seat which is raised on saber legs.

The original set of four arm and two side chairs is in the Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Getty, San Francisco.
